Three 'Must Haves' for Anguilla's Summer Festival 2012

Three ‘Must Haves’ for this Year’s Summer Festival

‘A Cultural Explosion, Expression of Self....Anguilla’s Summer Festival 2012'
Carnival is in the air! How can I tell?
1)      The Bands have started to release and the friendly rivalry among supporters of different bands has started.

2)      The Contestants for the pageants have been announced and the debate about who will win the various pageants is heated and ongoing.

3)      The calypso giants have started to release and the social commentary hitting the airwaves is hot, hot, and hot.
4)      The work out routines for members of the public have started or intensified as persons attempt to get their bodies in top notch condition for two weeks of nonstop activities.
5)      Carnival outfits are being planned and bought as everyone seeks to look their hottest! Don’t forget to check out Hottest Selections in East End, so you can express yourself in style!

Say yes to Today would like to wish all the revellers a fun filled and safe Summer Festival.
Remember, when you leave your homes for the various activities, these are the ‘must haves’ this season.
1)      A positive and patriotic attitude
2)      Protection (Safe sex or even better No Sex )
3)       A designated driver if you are planning to drink
If you can’t leave the baggage, drama, bad attitude, jealousy, 'beef', drugs or violence at home, do the rest of Anguilla a favour and stay home with it!
As you can see, I’m not talking fashion here when I speak of ‘must haves’ but if I were I would suggest getting some items in mint green. Also be playful with the use of lace, embrace flowy materials and high waisted pants and have some fun with whimsical prints. Wedges will definitely work on the rocky ground called the Festival Village.
But I digress....Back to the point, let’s all strive to keep it safe for Anguilla’s Summer Festival 2012. Say Yes to Today. Say yes to being safe, say yes to safe drinking and responsible driving, say yes to safe sex or abstinence, say yes to leaving the weapons at home. Say yes to fun, say yes to culture and above all Say yes and respect the lives of each another.
